Moira DeNike Consulting specializes in supporting programs and agencies concerned with K-12 public education, racial equity, juvenile justice, trauma-informed care, behavioral health, and criminal justice. It is our mission to help programs and agencies become more effective through research, planning, grant writing, and evaluation. Drawing from over 15 years of experience in data collection, survey design, sample and comparison group selection, interviewing, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis, we evaluate programs that serve children, youth, homeless, offender populations, juvenile offenders, behavioral health consumers, immigrant adult populations, and families.
Moira DeNike Consulting has won millions of dollars in grants for community-based organizations as well as public agencies from foundations and government grantors. We regularly assist public and nonprofit agencies through trainings, evidence-based research, and program design, and offer specialization in quantitative and statistical analyses (including measures of association and specific statistical testing using ANOVA, t-tests, chi-square, correlation matrices, and regression). We are also subject matter experts in juvenile justice, criminal justice reform, and diversionary programs.
Recent clients have included (in alphabetical order): The California Endowment, California Center of Excellence for Trauma-Informed Care, Center on Juvenile and Criminal Justice, Citizen Film, East Bay Community Recovery Project, Los Angeles County Probation Department, No Bully, Oakland Unified School District Community Schools & Student Services, and the Office of African American Male Achievement.
